For Catelynn Lowell, 2018 is about much more than resolutions. The Teen Mom OG star checked into rehab in November after experiencing suicidal thoughts and now that she’s back home she’s committed to focusing on her mental and physical health. And, of course, hubby Tyler Baltierra is by her side supporting her — the couple has even vowed to lose weight this year as a way to get back on track and focus on a healthier lifestyle for their family.
“He said he’s going to be with her every step of the way in terms of her working the steps, staying on top of her therapy session and not missing any days of her outpatient treatment,” a source close to the couple revealed. “He said he’s going to be with her every step of the way in terms of her working the steps, staying on top of her therapy sessions, and not missing any days of her outpatient treatment.”

We just dropped her off. We haven’t held each other & just cried like that for a long time. Even after 12 years, I continue to be AMAZED by her strength, vulnerability, & courage to get help. “As long as I am alive, you will never be alone” – It is my call to arms & I will fight this war with her right by her side, we will not surrender to this…I will go to battle EVERY TIME for her! #KeepTalkingMH
Catelynn has committed to giving up marijuana after she admitted that she has an unhealthy dependence on it along with alcohol. These changes won’t only benefit her mentally as alcohol is a depressant but will also provide physical changes as well.
“Tyler will be joining her when it comes to losing weight! He’s admittedly gained a bit of weight over the past year and he’s unhappy with his appearance,” the source added. “He’s been wanting to lose weight for a while now, so they’re making major changes as a family.”
Talk about #relationshipgoals — these two are really showing how a husband and wife should support each other in a marriage. After Tyler dropped his wife off at rehab he shared an inspirational message on Instagram writing, “Even after 12 years, I continue to be AMAZED by her strength, vulnerability, & courage to get help.”
We’re sure that Catelynn will be able to continue to get the help she needs. We wish them both the best!
