Jennifer Garner’s New Man Is A ‘Risky Romance For Her’ — Inside His Dark Past (EXCLUSIVE)

Watch out, Jennifer Garner! Apparently, her new man has a shady past. Just one week after news broke that the Peppermint star moved on from her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, new details have emerged about businessman John Miller.
The wealthy 40-year-old is smart (he graduated from Stanford Law School), successful (he’s the CEO of CaliBurger), not to mention, he’s ruggedly handsome. “John has all the qualities Jen’s looking for in a man,” one source tells In Touch magazine of her six-month suitor. “He’s the ultimate Prince Charming.”
A separate source revealed to Us Weekly that it’s a “healthy” romance. “They’ve been together six months — and it’s getting pretty serious,” one insider told the outlet, while another added, “Jen brings out the best in John, and he is the happiest he has probably ever been. It’s a loving, healthy relationship.”
That said, John is still legally married to his estranged wife, Caroline Campbell, and Jen’s loved ones are saying he’s only dating her to further his business opportunities. “He’s an entrepreneur and being attached to one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood is a surefire shot to instant fame,” our source adds. “He’s already being Googled and one of his companies, CaliBurger, is being buzzed about, so this is a win-win situation for John — and a risky romance for her.”
But Jen didn’t dive headfirst into the relationship. The doting mom had her kids Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, Samuel, 6 — whom she shares with Ben — in mind. “Jen didn’t go into this romance lightly,” explains the insider. “She grilled him, did her research, and some sleuthing.”
Still, friends think she should have taken even more time. “I don’t care what anyone says, a few months of dating doesn’t show you who the real person is,” continues the insider.
In court docs obtained by the mag, Caroline claimed that John obsessively hustles for his business: “He is working wherever he is, often feverishly,” she said. She also claimed that he may have fudged his assets and income to lower his support payment obligations. “It’s a red flag.”
But the former Mrs. Affleck isn’t phased by the backlash. “According to Jen, John and his wife are in a good place now. She said they did have their tense moments, but so did she and Ben when they were splitting up,” says the source. “Jen’s not really concerned with what people have been saying. She trusts him.”
