‘Jersey Shore’ Star Angelina Pivarnick Posts About Being ‘Strong’ Post Wedding Drama

Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick posted about strength on Sunday, November 24 — just a few days after her costars roasted the brunette beauty at her wedding to Chris Larangeira on November 20 in New Jersey. “Be strong because things will get better,” the 33-year-old uploaded the quote on her Instagram Stories. “It may be stormy now, but it never rains forever.”
At Angelina’s reception, Deena Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley “made some jokes about Angelina,” a source told Us Weekly. “The audience at the wedding booed them,” the insider added.
However, the bride wasn’t happy with her pals. “The jokes were all in good fun, but they didn’t land, and some didn’t think they were kind,” the source explained. “Angelina stormed off during the wedding and was upset about it. She was pissed. Now, she’s not talking to them. MTV filmed everything.”
But Deena, 32, took to Instagram in a now-deleted post to clear the air about what really happened that night since a bunch of trolls called out Deena for humiliating her friend. “I LITERALLY HOPE SOMEONE TELLS YOUR SON ON HIS WEDDING DAY HOW HE’S A TRASH BAG AND VOMIT,” one person wrote. “I feel sorry for [your] son to be raised by a s—tty heartless person. I hope your husband leaves you and takes your son to be raised by a real mother,” a second person vented.
Ultimately, the MTV personality defended herself from the haters. “Listen, I understand you’re all upset about our speech, but we also included nice things in it as well … we thought Angelina always says, ‘I never take myself seriously,’ she would truly laugh at the stuff we said,” she wrote, according to Us Weekly. “Clearly, we were wrong. We’re friggen [sic] human … people make mistakes. But wishing bad on my son … how are you any better?”
She added, “Our speech was not meant to be malicious … We actually did a lot while filming with Angelina for her wedding. I’m not a mean person and our intentions were never negative. Yes, we had a ‘roast part,’ which yes, I understand no one agrees with, but [Angelina’s husband Chris’] one brother brought up his period s—t tattoo … So, why is us making jokes during a speech a problem?”
Lastly, Deena concluded the lengthy message by explaining the reason she decided to speak up in the first place. “We truly thought she was going to laugh and right after we went into how lucky we are to have her in our lives, and she’s the sister we needed in the house,” she said. “I was truly going to stay quiet but when people continue to come after my 10-month-old son … I’m done.”
