Take him to church. Brad Pitt attended Kanye West’s Sunday service on September 1, and it sounds like the gathering left a lasting impression on the A-list actor. The 55-year-old gushed about Kanye’s spiritual service on Monday, September 16, at a special screening of his new movie Ad Astra in Washington, D.C.

“I think he is doing something really special there,” Brad said of the rapper, 42. “It’s just a pure celebration of life and people and it’s just really delightful. It really is.”

Brad isn’t the only major celeb who thinks Sunday service is a must-see. Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian frequently attend, as well as Kendall Jenner. The model actually got star-struck when she saw the Hollywood hunk at the event. “I think he’s been a couple times, but that was the first time I was there when he was there. And I literally left,” the 23-year-old told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on September 5. “I just saw Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood, and it was so good. He just, like, gets better with age. So, I was like, ‘I gotta go.’”

Kendall tried to explain her quick exit, saying, “Isn’t there a saying like don’t ever meet your superhero or whatever?” She added, “I don’t know, I just love him so much. I’m just … I’m gonna leave it at that and leave. I get nervous.”

An onlooker exclusively told In Touch that Brad appeared to be very friendly and even shook everyone’s hand. “The service was open to whomever found out word of mouth,” the insider added. “Everything was amazing. Kanye was great, and Brad was a surprise. Everyone who was there was there to experience praise and worship. It was good to see people like Brad there also experience that. Everyone that day was on such a high, so it was a very inviting and humbling experience for all of us.”

It looks like Kanye will be opening his doors to more attendees in the future. “Get ready for Kanye TV! Kanye has big plans for his popular Sunday services events,” a source exclusively told In Touch back in April. “He wants to telecast it, so the whole world can watch, and he wants Kim [Kardashian] by his side. Kanye wants to spread the word. He says there’s a huge demand for the services, the musicians he assembles, and his message of peace and family, which he says is healing and uplifting.”

We hope to see Brad are more Sunday services soon! We love this iconic friendship.
