Did Cardi B and Offset breakup? The former Love & Hip Hop: New York star and her beau have been dating since February, and they have become a hip-hop power couple in recent months — but there seemed to be trouble in paradise because they really did break up. Luckily, their split only lasted for a few hours, and Cardi took to her Instagram Story to confirm that she and her man are back together. Watch the video below to see how Cardi announced their split and then announced that they got back together!
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper also shared some insight into their split on Twitter, and she revealed that her fans weren't the only ones upset over her breakup with Offset — her family was, too! "Why [was] my dad yelling at me cause somebody told him me and Offset broke up?" she asked on Twitter. She also joked about the reason why she broke things off with her beau, saying that they split because he was the one who stole her favorite purple blanket — the one that she hilarious revealed is missing in one of her funny Instagram videos over the weekend.
Reasons why me and Offset got into it ...I think he stoled my purple blanket 😒but it wasn’t him so I’m still looking for the suspect— iamcardib (@iamcardib) October 22, 2017
But the former reality TV star stopped poking fun at their breakup and she shared a rare, sweet messages to the "Bad and Boujee" rapper. "Naaa [sic] but on a serious note I really loveeeee [sic] my man. He was gifted to me from Jesus," she tweeted.
It's unclear why Cardi and Offset broke up in the first place, but it may have to do with the pressure that Cardi is putting on her man to propose. She even hoped that he would propose to her on her birthday on Oct. 11, or that he would pop the question when he got back from tour in Australia last week.
“He's been giving her a lot of hints that when he gets back, he’s going to put a ring on it for her birthday," a source revealed to Hollywood Life. "She doesn’t want to jinx it but she’s sure he’s going to ask her to marry him. She’s so in love with him she can’t wait to say yes.”
