Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans have sympathized with Yolanda Foster in the past over her Lyme disease diagnosis — but In Touch can exclusively reveal that subject is off limits in the upcoming season.

“Lyme disease is off the table for her storyline. The viewers are tired of hearing about it, and Yolanda was very unhappy about the turn of events. Yolanda said she wanted to raise awareness about Lyme disease and producers understand her position,” a source explains.

The source adds, “Instead, Bravo gave Yolanda an ultimatum — her storyline this season will be looking for love since she is now single. Yolanda didn’t want to expose that part of her life to the public, but in the end, [she] caved in to Bravo’s demands because she wanted to be a part of the show.”

Cast mates Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi and Lisa Rinna will all return for the upcoming new season. Kim Richards will also continue to make appearances.

A rep for Yolanda has denies this report.

A spokesperson for Bravo adds, “This is completely untrue. The show covers whatever is happening in the lives of the ladies.”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will begin filming later this month.
