She's staying strong! Last week, Teen Mom 3 alum Mackenzie McKee took to Twitter to reveal the heartbreaking news that her mother Angie Douthit had been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. Ever since then, Mackenzie has been documenting her mom's journey via social media and she's asked for prayers as her mom recovers from brain cancer removal surgery — but now she's showing her followers just how strong her mom is by sharing a story about a recent prayer service that she attended on Instagram.

"Let me tell you about this woman," read the caption written by Mackenzie's sisters Whitney Osbourn. "Last night, we met to pray for my mom because she has stage 4 lung cancer. We cried out to God asking Him for a miracle. At the end of our prayer time, someone asked my mom to pray, so she did even though she is so tired and weak that it's hard for her to talk very long. She said one of the most beautiful and selfless prayers I've ever heard."

Let me tell you about this woman. Last night, we met to pray for my mom because she has stage 4 lung cancer. We cried out to God asking Him for a miracle. At the end of our prayer time, someone asked my mom to pray, so she did even though she is so tired and weak that it's hard for her to talk very long. She said one of the most beautiful and selfless prayers I've ever heard. While she spent some time praying for God to completely heal her, she spent most of her time praying for people who do not know Jesus personally. That they would desire to know Him and have a relationship with Him. Then she prayed for all of us in the room. That we would live the rest of our lives to be faithful servants of God, and share the gospel with people everyday. And she prayed for her whole family because she hates that we are suffering more than she hates that she is. I love you so much momma! #godisgreater #thereispowerinthenameofjesus #alwaysbekind #angiestrong #praylikeangieforangie @angiedouthit written by @whitterbug12

First, Angie spent a brief moment praying to God to completely heal her and then she focused her attention on others. She prayed that people who don't have a relationship with Jesus would desire to have one, and she also prayed for everyone else in the room.

"That we would live the rest of our lives to be faithful servants of God, and share the gospel with people every day," the caption continued. "And she prayed for her whole family because she hates that we are suffering more than she hates that she is. I love you so much, momma!"

It looks like all of Angie's kids admire her strength, especially during such a difficult time. Earlier this week, Mackenzie took to Instagram to share a collage of photos of her mom and she paid tribute to her in the caption.

"The most amazing woman I know," the 23-year-old wrote." She taught me everything I know. She is the only reason I am the woman I am today. I love you, Mom. I’m devastated, I’m angry, I’m shook, I can’t breathe. You are everything."
