‘Flip or Flop’ Star Tarek El Moussa on Ex Christina: “We’ll Be Together for the Rest of Our Lives”
While Flip or Flop stars Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa might be battling it out in court because of their nasty divorce, it seems as though the duo has managed to reach an amicable place in their relationship.
In their original joint statement to TMZ back in December, Tarek, 35, and Christina, 33, made clear that they were attempting to get through this divorce with as little drama as they could.

"[We] will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together," the parents confirmed.
And in a new interview with Us Weekly, Tarek confirmed that the HGTV stars were diligently working as a team to ensure the breakup goes as smoothly as it possibly can. The couple still has to work together on their hit show, even amid the divorce, and Tarek admitted that it isn’t easy.
“You have good days and bad days,” he said. “Now we say, ‘Hi, good morning.’ We film together and talk about houses and the kids. We’ll be together for the rest of our lives because we have kids. We need to get along for the kids and for our sanity.”

The duo are co-parents to daughter Taylor, 6, and son Brayden, 18 months, and point to fertility issues and sickness as causes of their split.
“It was a gradual thing over time. We were both very busy people with health issues and kids,” the father-of-two said. “We didn’t fight, we just grew apart.”

Christina didn’t waste much time moving on from her former hubby when she started dating show contractor Gary Anderson. The couple has since called it quits after Gary found out that Christina announced she was single in an interview.
Though Tarek admits it was hard to watch his ex enter a new relationship, he assured fans that he is totally over it.
“It bothered me [at first],” he said. “But she can live her life. I’ve totally moved on.”
And though he’s no longer attached to his ex, Tarek doesn’t plan on entering a serious relationship anytime soon.
“Now I’m not dating anyone specifically,” he said. “It will be a long time before I’m in a relationship.”
