NBC Brings Out the Star Power for Their ‘Roll Up Your Sleeves’ Vaccination Special
NBC is pulling out some big names for its upcoming “Roll Up Your Sleeves” Vaccination special, presented by Walgreens, airing Sunday, April 18th at 7pm ET/PT.
Hosted by power couple Russell Wilson and Ciara, Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey and more amazing stars, the hour long special aims to educate viewers, raise awareness and dispel concerns surrounding the COVID-19 vaccines, all with the goal of increasing vaccination rates to put an end to the pandemic.
Created and produced by ATTN: and developed in partnership with Civic Nation and leading health care professionals, this primetime variety broadcast aims to inform and encourage those who have vaccination concerns to learn the facts and get vaccinated when eligible to help the country recover. The hour long program will feature captivating real-life stories and heartwarming surprises while reminding audiences that getting the COVID-19 vaccine is a crucial step for Americans to return to the activities they love.
President Joseph R. Biden will speak directly about the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccine when available to beat the pandemic, protect loved ones and continue the road to recovery. Former President Barack Obama will appear along with former First Lady Michelle Obama, who will be joined by friends Faith Hill, Jennifer Lopez, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The special will feature the biggest names in entertainment, including comedy from Billy Crystal and Wanda Sykes. Also set to appear are Sterling K. Brown, Lana Condor, Jennifer Hudson, Dale Jarrett, Joe Jonas, Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Joel McHale, Kumail Nanjiani and Amanda Seyfried.
The telecast will also drive people to MadeToSave.org for vaccine education.
