There’s been a lot of speculation that Meghan Markle would not join her husband, Prince Harry, and the rest of the royal family for their annual Boxing Day shooting feast since there were reports that the Duchess did not approve of the activity. However, even though the mother-to-be is a huge animal lover, it seems like she put aside her doubts and joined in on the family fun.

The Duchess arrived for the Boxing Day feast after Prince Harry spent the morning shooting at pheasants with his father, Prince Charles, and brother, Prince William. The family joined the Queen and Prince Philip as they enjoyed a buffet filled with cold meats, hot sausages, soup, and salads at Sandringham Wood Farm, the Daily Mail reported. Even Prince Andrew, Princess Eugenie, and her new husband, Jack Brooksbank, joined in on the festivities.

“There is a special derobing room and they all go in there and take off their muddy clothes and boots,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “Then they go into a side room, which is specifically designed for shooting parties where they toddle around in their socks helping themselves to lunch.”

“The whole thing is incredibly relaxed and everyone is normally in a great mood,” the source added. The queen will be delighted that Kate and Meghan have sorted out their problems and that the year has ended on a high with the whole family in harmony.”

The queen apparently had to lay down the law when it came to Meghan and Kate feuding. “During the meeting, she told Kate to resolve their differences before the situation spirals even more out of control,” a source told Life & Style magazine. “It takes a lot for the queen to lose her temper, but she’s reached her boiling point.”

Welp, it sounds like all is well with the royals…for now.
