Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner Are Pregnant Following Miscarriage
Congratulations are in order for Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner!
The Married at First Sight stars announced that they're pregnant with baby No. 2 six months after experiencing a heartbreaking miscarriage. The couple took to Instagram to share the exciting news.
“We are PREGNANT!!! Our sweet Baby Hehner is due this August,” Jamie wrote in the caption with the hashtags “#pregnant” and “#overjoyed.”

Doug and Jamie posed for a sweet photoshoot with a rainbow balloon arch behind them — symbolizing that they're expecting a “rainbow baby,” a term used to describe children who are born after the parents suffer a miscarriage. Jamie held up a sonogram while Doug had a sign that reads, “Handpicked for Earth by my brother in heaven.”
“PS forgive me for my unbuttoned jeans. I'm at that awkward stage where I don't quite fill out maternity jeans but I definitely don't fit in my regular clothes,” she continued in the caption.
Shortly after announcing their first pregnancy last July, Jamie and Doug revealed they had lost their son because he didn’t have enough amniotic fluid while in utero.

Last October, during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month, she shared a photo of her little boy — named Johnathan Edward — taken at the moment she delivered him in the hospital.
In her caption, Jamie explained that even though there is a taboo against sharing photos of babies who are born too early, she felt it was important because she wanted her son to be remembered — and she wanted to remind women who had gone through similar situations that they're not alone.
