Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner Are Pregnant Following Miscarriage

“I was SO excited when I was pregnant. I've wanted to be a mommy for a very long time. I couldn't wait for my ‘baby bump’ to get bigger and bigger. Today I'm suppose to have a sweet, full-term baby boy. He's supposed to put me in labor and scream when he comes out,” she wrote on his due date. “His daddy and I would hold him close and let him know that everything's going to be ok. We'd kiss him and rock him in order to soothe all the pain and fear away… Sometimes I still ask God, ‘Why??’ I often wonder if I hadn't eaten this or lifted that maybe he'd still be safe? I know it's probably nothing I did, but It just breaks my heart knowing that his sweet little soul didn't get a chance at life. Johnathan Edward is our angel baby who's been watching over us because he was born too early.”

"‘It wasn't my choice to survive without you. So I will spend my life living for you and honoring you.’ I was so happy to have you in my belly,” Jamie captioned this pic of her baby bump. “I was three months pregnant with you in this photo…little did I know a month later I'd lose you. The heartache since you left has been excruciating. Johnny, I can't help but think of what you'd look like if you were able to stay in there safe and sound and come to us like you were supposed to for Christmas. I'll always love & honor you. You're my angel baby. Even though we only met briefly and I only got to hold you and give you kisses once — I still miss you. I'll always, always love you.”

“#TBT [to] that time I was standing next to my friend with a six pack but I didn't care… I was SO happy having a round, soft belly filled with love,” she wrote.

“Just found this old pic of my niece and me. She's nine-months-old now,” she wrote. “Stop growing! I cannot wait to have one of my own. Hubby and I are preparing (and we are always thinking of you, sweet Johnathan).”

“I was always so excited for Doctor visits because it meant I could see my little baby bouncing inside me,” she wrote. “This was one of our last visits… My heart hurts so bad, but I cannot tell you how much it means to me to see all the love and support from you all. Thank you all so much.
