There is nothing but drama on the set of NBC’s new series, First Dates — and In Touch can exclusively reveal that’s because of Ellen DeGeneres and Drew Barrymore‘s feud!

According to NBC, First Dates is “a groundbreaking series that will explore all of the simple wonders of a first date. We’re searching for people genuinely looking for love, men and women ages 18 to 65+ who are currently single. No competition, no eliminations — just a first date. Where it goes from there is up to you.”

The news comes somewhat as a shock to fans, considering the series only premiered earlier this month — and the Charlie’s Angels star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where the two joked about how they prep for their own dates.

Drew revealed at the time that she gets ready by “[dancing] around [her] closet and put on makeup and listen to music, call a friend,” while the talk show host quipped she prepares by “You know, having sex.”

She has also opened up in the past to her colleague about her 2016 split from husband Will Kopelman.

“It was just like my worst nightmare. I so wanted to raise kids in this ultra-traditional way and do everything so the polar opposite of my experience,” she revealed back in February.
