It’s over! Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub and her new beau Oliver Maier have reportedly called it quits, shortly after postponing their wedding. The Bravo alum was ready to exchange her vows at the Justice of the Peace in New York City, surrounded by friends and loved ones. However, it’s now been revealed that Danielle and Oliver split after dating for only six weeks.

The two were spotted going shopping for an engagement ring over the weekend, but Oliver didn’t end up purchasing anything, sources tell UsWeekly, who first broke the split news. Fans are shocked to hear that Danielle, 56, and Oliver, 52, parted ways, especially after they declared their love to the world.

Danielle and Oliver announced their whirlwind romance by going Instagram official on February 25. “Mystery solved,” she wrote next to a photo of them locking lips. The exes got engaged last week while on a tropical getaway in St. Barts and they were originally planning on flying back to the states to pick up her diamond ring at Van Cleef, before exchanging their vows on March 4. Her costar, Teresa Giudice, was even going to be in attendance for the upcoming nuptials.

Oliver is the Duke of Provence, which means that Danielle would have become a duchess if they did tie the knot. Danielle’s split from Oliver comes only two weeks after her divorce from estranged husband Marty Caffrey, 66, was finalized. Marty recently shared his thoughts on Danielle’s engagement and he was surprisingly supportive, despite their tumultuous relationship.

“Even knowing Danielle, it’s a little surprising,” Marty told People. “If Danielle is happy, then I’m very happy for her,” he says. “I wished her the best when I divorced her, and I meant it. Danielle and I have both been dating [other people] for a while. I’ll take my time, though.”
