Oops! Adele Got ‘Completely Wasted’ at Her Birthday Party and ‘Didn’t Go to Bed’
Sounds like Adele had a wild night out for her birthday this year. A source exclusively told In Touch the singer, “Got completely wasted at her celeb fest birthday party on Saturday and didn’t go to bed!” They added, “She had a blast but suffered the consequences the following day.” Stars — they’re just like us!
The insider continued, “Her manager organized a celebratory post-birthday dinner at Chateau Marmont on Sunday but she was so hungover and exhausted that she literally stayed for an hour before making her excuses to leave. She couldn’t even finish her dinner so took the leftovers home with her in a bag! Everyone else carried on the celebrations without her.” The source stated that Adele, 31, drank just one glass of red wine at that dinner and looked like she was about to vomit. Been there, girl.
The source added, “Adele wore a black hoodie in an attempt to disguise herself and snuck in and out of the restaurant through the side exit. She even insisted that staff adjusted the mirror hanging above her table to a different angle so that diners in the restaurant couldn’t see what a mess she looked!” Is that really so much to ask for, though?
It could be that Adele just wanted to go out and have a really good time for her birthday, and we don’t blame her if that’s the case. But it could also be that the “Rumor Has It” singer went all out and got wasted to forget her recent separation from her husband, Simon Konecki.
The singer’s representative told In Touch on April 19, “Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.” Who among us hasn’t gone out and gotten really drunk after a breakup? You do you, Adele. But maybe take it a little easier on your liver next time?
