A$AP Rocky’s former lawyer, Henrik Olsson Lilja, was shot in the head and chest while leaving his apartment building in Stockholm, Sweden, on Friday, September 6. Olsson Lilja worked with the 30-year-old when he was first taken into custody for allegedly assaulting a man on the streets of Sweden. It is not known if the shooting was in relation to Rocky’s court case.

Olsson Lilja was getting ready to leave his apartment building early Friday morning when a shooter walked up to him and shot him in the head and chest, TMZ reported. An eyewitness told the outlet that although he was bleeding, he was still conscious.

After the attack, the shooter allegedly jumped into an SUV waiting on standby and sped off. The outlet was told that Olsson Lilja called the police himself despite a massive head injury. His condition is unknown at this time, but Mia Edwall Insulander, the secretary general of the Swedish Bar Association, confirmed to CBS that Olsson Lilja is alive and in the hospital.

The Swedish Prosecution Authority told TMZ that a suspect has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Swedish newspaper Expressen further reported that the suspect is a female senior lawyer who was previously banned from contacting Olsson Lilja. The female suspect was reportedly arrested and is now being investigated for attempted murder. The Swedish police stated on their website that the shooting was an “isolated incident with no known connection to recent violent crimes.”

Rocky had been held in Sweden from late June to early August when he was finally released and able to return to America. The rapper was found guilty of assault for a fight that took place in Stockholm, however, he will not have to serve time in jail following the verdict due to lack of evidence.
