If you’ve been keeping up with Teen Mom OG recently, you’ve probably noticed that dad Ryan Edwards is off the market after popping the question to his beautiful lady Mackenzie Standifer, 20. Though Bentley’s dad introduced his new love to viewers last season on the show, still not much is known about her. So here are some fast facts.
She’s a mom herself
Though eight-year-old Bentley will soon call her his step-mom, Mackenzie actually has a son from a previous relationship, Hudson. The blonde beauty takes to her Instagram frequently to post adorable pics of the two kids bonding, and it’s clear that the newly-engaged duo is working to create a nice blended family.

Though Ryan’s relationship with his ex and baby mama might be strained, it’s clear mother-of-three Maci Bookout loves her ex man’s new girl! “I am so happy that when [Bentley] is with you, you can be his mother and treat him like your own child,” she said on an episode. “I just want to let you know, I really, really appreciate you.”
She has a troubled relationship history
According to Radar Online, Mackenzie filed for divorce from first husband Zachary Stephens in July of 2016 after being married for three years. Mackenzie was granted primary custody of her then-two-year-old after she claimed that “cohabitation [was] unsafe and improper.”
She’s defended her man and slammed MTV for “fake” editing
The mom recently went on a Twitter rant attacking MTV and defending Ryan after a clip surfaced that showed him in a less than flattering light. In the clip, Ryan’s parents show up at Maci’s house to go trick-or-treating but Ryan and his fiancée are late. “Daddy just [texted], him and Mackenzie are in some traffic but they’re on their way,” Jen, Ryan’s mom, told her grandson. The seven-year-old put his head down and said that his dad is always late. Mackenzie didn’t hold back when she accused MTV of using editing to create this “fake” storyline.

“[Five] mins late...whoop-dee-frickin'-do,” she tweeted. “Tip #1 for real life: Always be REAL in this FAKE a-- world.”

She regrets joining the Teen Mom franchise
In a conversation with a fan on Twitter, the 20-year-old was asked if she wishes she hadn’t joined the MTV reality show. “If I’m being 100 percent honest I regret it every single day,” she replied to the fan. “But I can only speak for myself.”

The couple plans to tie the knot in November
Even amid all the drama, Mackenzie and Ryan are headed down the aisle soon. In an interview with MTV following their engagement, Mackenzie revealed some sweet details about the proposal and the upcoming nuptials.
"I just thought we were going on a date, but he rented out a riverboat and nobody was there," she said. "It was just us on a riverboat, on the water, and it was beautiful. We finished dinner, and we were looking at each other. He asked me to stand up, and that's when asked."
And the couple isn’t waiting too long to become man and wife.
"We already booked the church — we're getting married in November 2017," she revealed. "It was where Jen and Larry [Ryan’s parents] got married."
Though Teen Mom lovers are only just beginning to get to know Ryan’s future wife, we’re sure we’ll be seeing much more of her on this season of Teen Mom OG.
