According to TMZ, Parlux and the 46-year-old teamed up in 2013 to launch "Gold Jay Z," a fragrance that utilized Jay’s name and face under a licensing agreement. He allegedly did not live up to his end of the deal, which entailed making appearances and promotion through social media.
The company reportedly believes Jay is also the reason new colognes never took off, as he skipped out on business meetings.
This comes on the heels of reports that he and his possibly pregnant wife, Beyoncé, 34, are experiencing issues on the home front.

“Jay Z and Beyoncé each have their own bedrooms. They are on opposite sides of a long hallway with [their four-year-old daughter] Blue Ivy’s room in between them,” an insider revealed last month.
It sounds like the rapper has some issues to figure out!
