It’s been less than a week since TLC canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo after it came to light the show’s matriarch, Mama June, was dating registered sex offender Mark McDaniel — an allegation she has continued to deny.
Since then, a lot of information has come to light about the family and the controversy — so we did you a favor of organizing everything that has been alleged so far in one place.
You can thank us later.

Mark McDaniels served 10 years behind bars for aggravated child molestation after he forced oral sex on an 8-year-old girl — later revealed to be June’s oldest daughter, Anna, also known on the show as Chickadee.
According to the police report, Anna told a child services counselor in 2003 that “she had done the ‘s-word’ with Mark. Anna then stated that Mark touches her private parts and sometimes he makes her touch his. Anna advised she tells Mark to stop, but he keeps going.”
It’s worth mentioning that June still denies having relationship with Mark. Anna, who is married with a 2-year-old daughter, doesn’t believe her mother’s claims and says she will forbid June from seeing her daughter Kaitlyn until she ditches the convict.
Anna isn’t alone in doubting June. Despite initial reports citing Sugar Bear’s online dating profiles as the cause of their breakup, sources are now saying it’s believed June ended the marriage because Mark was released from prison. Sugar Bear — real name, David Thompson — is also upset that his 9-year-old daughter Alana has had contact with the registered sex offender.
Though she denies her relationship, the 35-year-old was seen house-hunting and buying other lavish gifts for her “not boyfriend.”
There’s at least one person who believes June’s story — 14-year-old Lauryn (A.K.A. “Pumpkin”). She went on an Instagram rant saying her oldest sister was never molested — and blamed her Uncle Poodle for orchestrating the whole thing (because he needs money).
Meanwhile, Mark has yet to break any laws. He hasn’t been in contact with Anna — and he’s legally allowed to be around the rest of the Boo Boo clan (even Alana, who is around the same age as Anna was when the crimes took place).
