From Baking to
Escaping: Stars Share
Their Thanksgiving

It’s that time of year again! Turkeys are on the table, the parade is on TV and families across the country are getting together to celebrate what they’re most thankful for— each other.

In Touch recently caught up with some notable stars to see what they’re up to this Thanksgiving, and from baking to escaping, these celebrities are ready for the holiday.

Kellie Pickler on Thanksgiving Plans: “Um, we try to escape, that’s our moment of time off from work so a lot of times we leave the country and try and just go on vacation.”

NeNe Leakes on Feasting: “I'm not a real big eater. I'm a small portion eater. But we eat all day on Thanksgiving, all day on Christmas. New Years we just party.”

Jordin Sparks on Baking: “My mom makes her sweet potato casserole, which I absolutely love. She’s going to make it this year for Thanksgiving. I took her recipe for sweet potato casserole, and I put it into a cupcake and it was awesome! I made those for Thanksgiving last year and I made some orange creamsicle cupcakes. I had some orange soda sitting around, and I was like ‘hm’! They were so good.”

Ben Stiller on What He'll Watch: “I'll watch [my wife Christine] cook. She’s a great cook. She makes wonderful stuffing. Very good with stuffing.  Yeah, she loves cooking for Thanksgiving. It's her favorite thing. Once a year.”

Britney Spears on Her Favorite Meal: “Drunk…chicken. Not getting drunk, just drunk chicken!”

Deena Cortese on Holiday Company: Well, actually this will be my first year with my boyfriend- spending it with me for Thanksgiving, and I am with him for Christmas Eve.”

Melissa Gorga on a Tropical Thanksgiving: As far as Thanksgiving, I’ll be in Jamaica.

Catelynn Lowell on New Traditions: It’s just gonna be at my house. I am a first time home owner. Woo! And so I am having Thanksgiving and Christmas at my house.
