The actress, who plays the mysterious new tenant Violet on the CW drama, and her co-star Colin Egglesfield will no longer be part of the series come January. “They took it like professionals. When you go into a show you never know what’s going to evolve and what the possibilities are,” executive producer Todd Slavkin said of Ashlee and Colin’s reactions to the news of their dismissal. The redheaded beauty recently expressed excitement about her latest career move. “My role really changes through the season. It’s fun for me!” Ashlee, who previously starred in the former teen drama 7th Heaven, told In Touch this summer.
