Things are getting messy. RHOA alum Apollo Nida shaded ex-wife Phaedra Parks on Instagram just a few weeks following his release from prison after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud back in May 2014. The 40-year-old alleged on Sunday, August 11, that Phaedra, 45, is keeping him from his children.

“DON’T WORRY! We will be together soon, no matter what, she can’t keep us apart,” the former reality star captioned a photo of his sons Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6. “The fight will not stop to be a good DAD!!! There’s not a day that goes by I don’t think of the 2 of u. LOVE AND MISS YA SO MUCH. #dayonedad #alwaysbeenthere #fathershaverightstoo.” Now that Apollo is no longer incarcerated, it looks like he refused to be silenced anymore. Phaedra had also been tight-lipped about her former flame since their split and his prison sentence, but now she is opening up as well.

My sons have been through a lot, they’ve seen a lot of good things, they’ve seen a lot of bad things and nobody’s life is going to be perfect, so we’re just going to continue and keep our schedules as they have been and we’re going to hope and pray that Apollo can get it together,” Phaedra told DailyMail on July 11.

The estranged father was released early from his 96-month prison sentence on Tuesday, June 4. He was reportedly supposed to stay at a halfway house until October 2019. Just days after his release, Apollo was sent back to the clink after violating his parole. He was released for the second time on July 30 to a halfway house in Philadelphia, per Federal Bureau of Prisons records. He is scheduled to be released from federal custody on November 26 of this year.

Phaedra told the news outlet that her sons were “sad” that Apollo had to go back into custody and insists she wishes the best for him though his most recent post indicates otherwise. It looks like she is doing what she feels is best for her family, but Apollo hopes to reunite with his sons soon.
