Michael Phelps is Engaged to Girlfriend Nicole Johnson — See the Ring!
Michael Phelps put a ring on it!
The 18-time Olympic gold medalist took to Instagram earlier today and revealed he got engaged to his girlfriend, Nicole Johnson.
“She said yes??? @nicole.m.johnson. (Photo credit to @arschmitty ),” he captioned the pic, which shows the pair — who have been dating on and off since 2007 — rolling around in the snow and smiling for the camera.
And by the size of that bauble, the swimmer, 29, certainly didn’t disappoint in the engagement rings department!
The news couldn’t have come at a better time for Michael, whose six-month suspension from USA swimming — following his second arrest for drunk driving — ends March 6. The soon-to-be groom completed a 45-day rehab after his Sept. 30 arrest.
No word from Lianne Chandler — the intersex woman who alleged she recently dated Michael — about his latest news just yet…
