Nick Cannon Dishes on Co-Parenting With Mariah Carey During the Holidays: “It’s All Rooted in Love”
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are far from bitter exes.
In a new interview, the America’s Got Talent host opened up about parenting twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey during the holiday season — and the former couple seems to have found the perfect way to co-parent sans drama.

“I think that’ll be something that we’ll always embrace as a family and as our families expand,” he revealed about the holiday season. “And continue to make sure that we keep everyone focused on love.”
“It’s kinda the norm. It’s all rooted in love, it’s all rooted in positive energy,” he added. “There’s no hard feelings and ill will. Ultimately, it’s about putting the kids first and making sure they have the best childhood they could possibly have.”
Nick and Mariah split in August 2014 following six years of marriage. Although Nick originally filed for divorce in January 2015, it was reportedly finalized earlier this month. Since her split with Nick, Mariah was engaged to billionaire James Packer. The engagement was recently called off following an alleged incident while vacationing in Greece.
