Granger Smith Has a Lot of Support Following the Tragic Loss of Son River: Meet His Incredible Family
Following the tragic news that Granger Smith’s youngest son, River Kelly, passed away, his wife, Amber Smith, and their two other children, London and Lincoln, are rallying together for support.
Amber, 37, took to Instagram on Thursday, June 6, shortly after her country singer husband, 39, made the devastating announcement to share her thoughts. “Our family is devastated and heartbroken, but we take solace in knowing he is with his Heavenly Father,” the actress wrote.
Beyond finding comfort in their faith, the Smith family has a longstanding history of being incredibly close. In fact, both Granger and Amber are constantly fawning over their precious brood on social media.
“Anyone have a very spirited child? She’s ours,” Amber captioned a darling photo of herself and her 7-year-old daughter, London. “Wild, passionate, determined, strong-willed, but also kind, smart, playful and happy. She tests us on the daily, but I know her spirit will be her force when she’s older.”
As for 5-year-old Lincoln, he’s the spitting image of his famous papa. “Had a little tour buddy with me the last four days,” Granger captioned a series of photos of his kiddo tagging along on the road. “Like father like son, such a mini ROCKSTAR!” one fan commented.
While the loss of River, as both a son and brother, is undoubtedly the greatest hardship the Smith family will ever have to face, we sincerely hope that their amazing connection and close-knit bond will help them get through.

Love the ones close to you,” Granger reminded followers on social media.“In lieu of flowers or gifts, please send donations to Dell Children’s Medical Center in River’s name. The doctors, nurses and staff have been incredible,” he concluded.
