Congrats To Gabe Brown! Another ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Is Tying The Knot
Over the summer, Noah Brown was the first of the Alaskan Bush People kids to settle down and tie the knot. Now, one of his brothers is joining him in married bliss, because Radar Online is reporting that Gabe Brown just filed for a marriage license in Washington state. The reality star is 28-years-old and ready to make things official with his girlfriend, Raquel Pantilla — though we must’ve missed the memo that she’d become his fiancée! We don’t know too much about Raquel just yet, but we have met her on the Discovery Channel star’s little sister’s Instagram.
As for Gabe’s own Instagram, well, there’s not a lot of evidence there that he’s even been in a relationship. It’s clear that the TV personality can be a pretty private person, though. Back when his mom, Ami Brown, was struggling with her cancer treatments, he was with the family but stayed off camera because he seemingly wasn’t ready to be dealing with most of those feelings in public. And it looks like the same is true for his romantic feelings. But he did leave fans a little bread crumb — a photo of the couple’s hands together making a heart. “Some feelings can’t be described with words,” he wrote in April.
On Valentine’s Day, though, Rain Brown shared the good news about her brother’s romance with fans. “Third wheelin’ like a pro this V-Day,” she jokingly captioned a photo of herself kissing her dog as her brother kissed Raquell, 21. How funny is that? It seems that the soon-to-be sisters-in-law are already getting super close — and some fans suggest that Rain may have even been the one to set the couple up. Rain even shared a shoutout for her brother’s then-girlfriend on her Instagram account back in March. “Special thanks to @raquell_rose for always reminding me that brighter days are ahead,” the teenage reality star wrote when she was having a tough day.
The love was mutual, and Raquell responded with some beautiful words of her own. “I love you so much!” Gabe’s girlfriend wrote. “You mean so much to me💖 Better things are coming and we got to keep strong! You’re my best friend forever.” Of course, Rain had to let her know the feeling was mutual: “Right back at cha babes.”
It’s so nice to see the two girls getting along, especially after all the drama between Rain and the new Rhain Brown, Noah’s wife who the 15-year-old accused of “stealing” her name. Hopefully, both R(h)ains can learn to get along — maybe new sister-in-law Raquell can help smooth things over?
