Gone, but never forgotten. Diddy is still struggling to come to terms with the death of his ex and mother of his three children, Kim Porter, but he’s doing his absolute best to stay strong. The mogul shared an emotional message to Instagram on Dec. 7, asking for prayers as he continues to grieve.

Diddy posted a message that read, “Your about to be happier than you’ve ever been,” and he didn’t hold back while opening up about his heartache in the caption. “Me talking to my self #manifestation #secondysecond,” the hip-hop star wrote. “THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD!!!! HELP ME. HELP ME. GOD PLS HELP ME!!!!! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME CAUSE MONEY CANT STOP THE PAIN.”

“ONLY YOU CAN GOD,” Diddy continued his impassioned plea. “ONLY PRAYER CAN HELP ME GOD PLS HELP US!!!! IF I DIDN’T NEED THE PRAYERS I WOULDN’T ASK. Prayer works. THANK YOU SO MUCH. THANK YOU. WE all WE GOT! YOU ARE ALL WE GOT!!!! Love #TEAMLOVE.” Kim tragically passed away at the young age of 47 on Nov. 15, and she and Diddy share three children together: Christian Combs, 20, and twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James, 11. Diddy also adopted Kim’s oldest son, Quincy, from her previous relationship with Al B. Sure.

Kim and Diddy, 49, dated for 13 years so they have a lot of history and memories together. The dynamic duo never made it down the aisle as they decided to call it quits in 2007, but they still maintained a strong connection. “Kim is an incredible mother to our children. We’ve been part of each other’s lives for many years and I have always admired her courage and strength,” Diddy gushed over his former flame during an interview with JET magazine, noting how she’ll always be one of his best friends. We’re keeping them all in our thoughts during this extremely tough time.
