They’re taking the high road! Ciara and Russell Wilson might finally be clapping back at her ex-fiancé, Future. The rapper previously threw some major shade at them, and Ciara and Russell each took to social media to seemingly share a classy AF response.

Ciara, 33, posted a photo on Instagram of her new ‘fit, but she seemingly threw some subtle shade with her caption. “Rise Above,” the singer wrote.

Russell, 30, also seemed to allude to the situation with his Instagram post on January 19. “All that matters. #Love,” the Seattle Seahawks quarterback captioned a photo of a sweet moment between his kids. Russell and Ciara share 21-month-old daughter Sienna together, and Russell is a step-dad to Ciara and Future’s 4-year-old son Future, Jr. In the pic, little Sienna is seen kissing her grinning big brother, and it’s definitely a moment that could serve to remind feuding family members what it’s all about in the end.

Ciara and Future, 35, have always taken jabs at each other after their nasty split in 2014, but their feud was recently reignited. On Thursday, January 17, during an interview with his friend Big Bank Black on the Freebandz Radio Presents: The Wizrd show on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Future said Russell wasn’t “being a man” because he seemingly allowed his wife to continue to talk about her ex online.

“He do [sic] exactly what she tell [sic] him to do. I feel like … I don’t have no feelings,” Future said. “He not being a man in that position. You not tellin’ her, ‘Bro, chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!'”

Unfortunately, the relationship between these three hasn’t been all that lovely lately. Ciara actually filed a $15 million lawsuit against her ex in February 2016, according to Us Weekly, for defamation and slander. Before that, in July 2015, Future called out Ciara and Russell during an interview on The Breakfast Club, claiming Ciara orchestrated a paparazzi photo of Russell pushing Future Jr. in a stroller, the same outlet reported. “Leave my son out of the publicity stunts. Just leave him out of your relationship,” Future said on the radio program. Sounds like everyone needs to just “rise above” and move on, TBH.
