Kiefer Sutherland's rep responded to the criticism Freddie Prinze Jnr. heaped on the actor, saying, "Kiefer worked with Freddie more than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie‘s grievances. Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.”
Over to you Freddie.
Freddie Prinze Jr. recently revealed he was on the verge of quitting acting—because of a terrible experience with actor Kiefer Sutherland on the set of 24!
“I did 24, it was terrible. I hated every moment of it,” he confessed to ABC News. “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”

He went on to say he was forced to take off his shoes when filming with Kiefer, who is 5-foot, 4-inches, to make the height difference look less extreme (Freddie is 6-feet tall).
The experience was so traumatizing, he decided to take some time off from acting altogether.
“I just wanted to quit the business after that,” he said. “So I just sort of stopped.”
Interestingly enough, Kiefer had nothing but positive things to say about working with Freddie when asked about his season 8 partner.

“We have some great actors joining us—Mykelti Williamson is the head of the CTU, Freddie Prinze Jr. is playing my partner,” Kiefer told Parade in 2009. “So it’s this great balance between something that’s new and what fans will find familiar.”
