During an inauguration event last week, Jessica Alba asked a reporter what she felt new president Barack Obama’s best characteristic is. The reporter, citing journalistic non-bias, refused to answer. Jessica than said, “Be neutral — be Sweden about it.” TMZ.com quickly jumped on the statement, calling the actress a “ditz” and an “arrogant buffoon” while Bill O’Reilly called her “misguided” for confusing Sweden with Switzerland. Jessica, however, retaliated on her MySpace blog. “Last week, Mr. Bill O’Reilly and some really classy sites (i.e. TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country,” she wrote. “I appreciated the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people ... It’s so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland.” To prove her point, she linked to a Wikipedia article which states that Sweden was indeed also neutral. Touché, Jess!
