Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s Wife Lauren Says Her ‘Heart Hurts’ While He’s Behind Bars
Trying to stay strong. Mike “The Situation Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino, admitted on Instagram that she misses her man while he’s in prison.
“Was watching #WillandGrace today and heard Jack say ‘besmirch’ and thought of you @mikethesituation,” his costar Jenni “JWoww” Farley captioned several photos of herself with Mike on Monday, May 21. “@Meilanimathews asks all the time, ‘When can we go see your best friend Mike? I miss him and @lauren_sorrentino.’ Really can’t wait for you to get home,” she added with a praying emoji.
Of course, Lauren, 34, couldn’t help but write back to the Jersey Shore star. “I know, my heart hurts, but he’ll be home soon!!!” she wrote in the comments section along with a sad face. “Love you! We can have a girls day with Meilani ‘till he gets back!”
Naturally, Mike’s other costars like Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi also commented using hearts and praying hands emojis.
Many fans also wanted to show their support for the MTV personality. One person wrote, “He is the definition of growing up. He’s taking responsibility, and it’s so cool to see. Such a good role model. Love it,” while another person echoed, “He has turned it around so much since season 1 of the Jersey Shore. Mike is definitely a friend that I would want to have. He’ll be home soon enough for everyone to laugh with again.” A third chimed in, writing, “Free Mike.”
The handsome hunk is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in New York. His release date is reportedly set for September 13, 2019.
Luckily, Lauren has been able to visit her hubby while he’s away, and she posted a couple of photos from her time at the facility on social media. “The COMEBACK is always GREATER than the setback. #FreeSitch,” she wrote on May 3.
Lauren is also supportive of Mike during this difficult time. “This man is a blessing to me and truly one of a kind. He leads our family with gratitude and an unshakeable faith,” she wrote on April 20. “I’m lucky to call him my husband. I love you, forever. #husbandappreciationday.”
