Kyle Richards’ daughter Alexia Umansky is in the hospital after her aunt Kim Richards’ pit bull Kingsley attacked her, leaving the teen with injuries that required several operations.
A new report says the dog went into attack mode “out of nowhere,” savaging the 18-year-old at Kim’s LA home on Saturday, Nov. 1. The most serious injury she sustained was on her right hand, where the dog allegedly bit through her skin, leaving her bone exposed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been by her daughter’s side at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where she had two surgeries to treat her injuries.
Prior to the report, Kyle addressed her daughter’s wounds on Instagram, writing, “Regarding Alexia: She was attacked by a dog and has to have surgery. As always, she is trying to make the best out of a bad situation. Thank you for your thoughts & well wishes.”
Kingsley’s history of aggression has been well documented on RHOBH. In one episode, the pooch was seen attacking his trainer.
The dog is still in Kim’s LA home, as the Department of Animal Control was never called. TMZ explains the family hopes to keep the incident “private.”
