She’s putting the rumors to rest! Kardashian fans have long been obsessed with the theory that Khloé Kardashian‘s real father is disgraced former NFL star O.J. Simpson, and even though multiple parties involved had come out and denied the alegations, it doens’t stop the Khloé/O.J. paternity rumors from swirling — and they were reignited after Khloé shared the first photos of her baby daughter True Thompson. Fans started to point out the similarities between True and O.J., hinting that the little girl looked like the man rumored to be her grandfather, but Khloé quickly shut down the speculation with one Instagram comment.

“Her daughter is black which proves that O.J. Simpson is Khloé’s dad,” one fan commented, and Khloé sweetly responded, “I mean… her dad is black silly. That’s why she’s black babe.”

KoKo also took to Twitter to gush over how much little True looks like her daddy Tristan, which would obviously explain why the little girl has a darker complexion. “Tristan and True are twins LOL it’s crazy,” Khlo tweeted. “Everyone tells me they are identical, it’s wild. Maybe her eyes will stay light and I can get something LOL.”

Rumors about Khlo’s alleged paternity scandal date back to 2013 when Khloé’s stepmother claimed that her late father Robert Kardashian had allegedly confessed that Khloé was not his biological child, but she didn’t reveal who Khloé’s real father could be. That’s when fans started sleuthing.

Khloé’s mother Kris Jenner had been very open about her infidelity while married to Robert, and she admitted that he divorced her after he found out she was having an affair. Fans think that Kris had an affair with Robert’s friend O.J., and the two go way back — back in the early ’90s, Robert even came out of retirement to join the legal “dream team” to represent O.J. during his trial for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

But O.J. himself denied rumors of an alleged affair and he also denied that he is Khloé’s dad during an interview with TMZ after they asked him if congratulations were in order for him because of Khloé’s pregnancy. “Well, for Bob, God bless his soul, yeah,” O.J. said. “But I don’t know for me. For me, I had nothing to do with it. Khloé and the girls were all terrific girls when they were growing up. Nice and terrific.”
