Actor Windell D. Middlebrooks — best known for playing the delivery guy in commercials for Miller High Life — has passed away. He was 36-years-old.
Sources close to the actor, who also portrayed Kirby on Suite Life on Deck, tell ‘‘TMZ’ he was found unconscious at his Southern California home on the morning of Monday, March 9 and was rushed to hospital — where he was pronounced dead.

His ‘Suite Life’ costar Debby Ryan was among the stars who paid tribute to the late stand-up comedian upon hearing news of his passing. She wrote, “Rest in peace Windell Middlebrooks, our ‘Kirby.’ You were a light to the entire ‘Suite Life’ crew and cast and we’ll forever love you.”
As a regular cast member on ‘Body of Proof’ from 2011 to 2013, he had a successful career on the small screen, appearing on ‘Parks and Recreation’ and ‘Cougartown,’ in addition to a recurring role during the final season of ‘Scrubs.’

His family confirmed his passing with a statement to the ‘Daily Mail,’ which read, “The Middlebrooks, with sorrowed hearts, announce the passing of a young, black star. Windell took his final bow and with great joy exited stage left in the early morning of March 9, 2015. It was Windell’s biggest wish that his final scene not be lived on social media. Further details will be forthcoming once the family members’ plans have been finalized.”
According to ‘TMZ,’ foul play is not suspected as a factor in Windell’s death.
