Looks like his vampire slayer friend couldn't help him out of hot water this time!
Actor Nicholas Brendon, who most famously played Xander Harris on the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV series, was arrested in Boise, Idaho, showing signs of intoxication, police said. The actor was in town for a comic con event, which he attended earlier that day.
Police were called to a downtown hotel around 10 pm on Friday after witnesses reported a disturbance in the lobby involving Nicholas and hotel staffers. According to a report, "When officers arrived, they found the suspect who showed signs of intoxication and repeatedly refused officers commands to stay seated while officers tried to speak with witnesses," the release said. "When the suspect continued to try and walk away, officers took him into custody for resisting and obstructing."
Brendon was charged with two misdemeanors -- malicious injury to property and resisting or obstructing officers. He was released on bond a few hours later.
On his Twitter account Brendon thanked fans for their "love, support and positive vibes."
This has been an interesting time for the 43 year old. He got married earlier this month, just a week after proposing to his girlfriend. After tying the knot, the actor posted pictures on twitter to announce the marriage.
