We can bet that the Richie family won’t be happy about this! Sofia Richie’s brother, Miles Brockman Richie, was issued a caution by the police at London’s Heathrow Airport on January 19, Radar Online can confirm. The model, 24, allegedly got into an argument with officials after he claimed that he had a bomb.

“On Saturday, January 19, a 24-year-old man accepted a caution for communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow Terminal 5 earlier that morning,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson told In Touch, but could not confirm or reveal the name of the person that was involved in the incident.

According to Radar, Miles was frustrated that he wasn’t allowed on a flight. Therefore, he became angry and claimed he had a bomb in his bag, which he said he would set off if he wasn’t able to get on the plane. Since he reportedly hit a security guard, the police detained him and issued him a caution.

A caution in England is the same thing as accepting responsibility for an illegal act. Miles will not be charged with a crime and doesn’t need to appear in court. However, in general, the caution will always appear on a person’s criminal record absent exceptional circumstances.

Miles’ dad, Lionel Richie, 69, has yet to make a statement about his son. The singer is close with his three children but admitted that “kids will try to test the last nerve of your body,” during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in March 2018.

“My job for them now, my job is to embarrass them as much as I can, yeah. I seem to be embarrassing them more. What is happening now, I get dressed, I think I am looking really great, I go out of the house, it just takes them going, ‘You’re not going out there looking like that, are you dad?’ Just messes up my whole sexy,” he said.

Hopefully, their family can put this all behind them and move on with their lives.
