Céline Dion Cancels Las Vegas Shows Following René Angelil’s Death
We can’t imagine what Céline Dion is going through right now.
Her husband, René Angelil, died after losing his third cancer battle on Thursday morning — and now the 47-year-old has canceled her upcoming performances at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas to cope with the tragedy.

“With heavy hearts, we regret to inform you that Celine performances Saturday, Jan. 16 and Sunday, Jan. 17 at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace have been cancelled,” reads a statement on Céline’s website, which mentions whoever purchased tickets can get refunds.
The songstress will return to the stage on February 23.

René, 73, is also survived by the couple’s three children — five-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy and René-Charles, 14 — and his adult children from a previous relationship — Anne-Marie, Patrick and Jean-Pierre.
