A judge has allowed Britney Spears' dad, Jamie, to retain control of her finances until February 14 — along with an attorney, Andrew Wallet. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz also appointed a physician to evaluate whether the singer is competent to make decisions and she is also barred from contacting her friend/manager, Sam Lutfi, by phone, texting or any other means. The restraining order against him has also been extended, though not yet served. Jamie's attorney said, "He's not here to take over [Britney's] assets. He's here to get her medical help. He's here to take over while she's healing."
