Jennifer Machin

Jenn is primarily a digital staff writer for Life & Style, but her work also appears on In Touch and Closer. When she’s not writing about the Kardashian kids’ cutest moments or Meghan Markle’s whereabouts, you can find her at a concert or befriending a stranger’s dog somewhere.

Her favorite topic to cover is music. She tends to stay up way too late on New Music Fridays, which is both her greatest weakness and biggest regret — the following day that is.

Work or writing background leading to expertise

Jenn became a writer for American Media Inc. in October 2018. In addition to celeb news, she likes to focus on body positivity issues as well as her favorite childhood celebs — Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are a few of her faves. (Let’s just say she knows more about them than one should be willing to admit.)

Education

She majored in English and minored in journalism at Montclair State University, which helped her improve her writing and also made her quite the expert at procrastinating.

Work history

Prior to her gig at AMI, Jenn interned for a number of publications such as Billboard, Mashable and Seventeen, which only made her more of an entertainment and pop culture junkie.
