Who Is Kyle Fraser’s Wife Maggie Turner?

Like the Survivor 48 champ, Maggie  is also a lawyer. She’s an associate at the New York City law firm of Emery Celli Brinckerhoff Abady Ward and Maazel LLP, according to her LinkedIn profile.

As of May 2025, Maggie had been at the job for just one month, after spending nearly two years as a trial attorney in the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights division in Washington D.C.

Prior to that, she had stints clerking for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court in New York City.

Where Did Maggie Turner Go to College?

Maggie graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014, with her primary studies including “political philosophy, policy and law with distinction.”

She went on to study at the University of Michigan School of Law starting in 2017. While there, Maggie worked as the Michigan Law Review’s notes editor and was active with the school’s moot court and mock competition teams. The legal eagle graduated with an impressive magna cum laude honor.

Kyle Fraser and Maggie Met While Attending Law School

It appears that the duo began dating while attending law school in Michigan, as Kyle first appeared on Maggie’s Instagram page in a photo from a date night in August 2019. She noted that it was the future realty star’s “first ever” time going to Ann Arbor’s Italian eatery Mani Osteria.

Two months later, the couple posed in each other’s arms at a University of Michigan football game. Kyle was also by Maggie’s side in her 2020 law school graduation photos.

Kyle’s timeline of attending law school at Big Blue was from 2018 through 2021, putting him one class behind Maggie’s. He too worked on the Michigan Law Review as the senior editor and like his future bride, Kyle was part of the university’s moot court competition.

When Did Kyle Fraser and Maggie Turner Get Engaged?

Kyle noted numerous times during his time on Survivor 48 that he had a fiancée back at home. The attorney popped the question to Maggie next to the Manhattan Bridge near where the couple live in Brooklyn, New York.

“We’re engaged!!!” she captioned a carousel of Instagram photos on April 2, 2023, adding it “wasn’t an April Fool’s joke” thanks to the timing.

The pictures showed Kyle getting down on one knee while the duo appeared to be out on a walk with their dog, Sammie, on a rainy spring day. Their pooch was part of the celebration, donning a burgundy bandana reading, “My mom and dad are engaged” on it after the diamond ring was on Maggie’s left hand.

When Did Kyle Fraser and Maggie Turner Get Married?

Kyle referenced his upcoming wedding throughout season 48 of Survivor, noting he was a month away from tying the knot while busy trying to outwit, outplay and outlast 17 other castaways.

The couple married in September 2024 in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in Charlottesville, Virginia. The setting was familiar to Maggie, as that’s where she did her undergraduate studies.

Photos on Instagram show the farm-like setting with rolling green hills behind the wedding party. The nuptials had a pale blue color theme for bridesmaids, while Maggie donned a sleeveless white wedding gown. Kyle looked so dapper on his big day, decked out in a classic black tuxedo.

The wedding went down just after Kyle returned home from Fiji $1,000,000 richer, so no wonder everyone had huge smiles on their faces in addition to the couple’s marital bliss.
