Zach Galifianakis Flaunts Major Weight Loss at the Emmys — See His Incredible Transformation!

Hollywood’s hottest stars brought their A game to the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards last night, and Zach Galifianakis was no exception. The Hangover star — who was nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in FX’s Baskets — showed off his newly slimmed down frame and he looked ah-mazing. The 47-year-old sported a black tux and bow tie for the big event and has reportedly lost about 50 pounds. While he’s kept pretty mum about his trimmed-down physique, he’s recently been very vocal about how he dislikes fame. “Being a celebrity is s–t — it’s dumb, and I’m not interested in it,” he said at a press conference for Birdman in 2014. “I like to be an actor, and that’s it. The blurred lines are, I think, man-made. I think celebrity is a man-made thing; it’s not innate in us… I’d rather just do my work and go home and watch Lifetime.” Amen!

That same year, Zach was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and again touched on how uncomfortable the red carpet makes him. “Oh, I live on the carpet. I live for the carpet. Salt of the Earth, people there,” he told Jimmy sarcastically. “I find the questions are boring [on the red carpet] and I try to liven it up a bit.” He recalled, “There was this woman on the red carpet and she said, ‘Oh! It looks like you’ve lost some weight.’ I just looked at her and I went, ‘Yeah, I’m dying.'” All jokes aside, though — Zach looks great!
