Fans are so excited about baby No. 2 for Little People, Big World stars Tori Roloff and Zach Roloff, and they want to know everything they can about the little girl. One of their main questions? Whether or not Jackson Roloff’s little sister will also be a little person. According to Tori, who previously said there were about 50/50 odds, there is one way to know right now, and that’s by doing an amniotic draw. However, she and her husband have ‘opted out’ of that procedure, and they’ll wait to find out until later.

“So everyone keeps asking after seeing the ultrasound of baby girl if she is a little person or average height, and the answer is we don’t know, and we won’t know until she’s born,” Tori, 27, told her followers through an Instagram Story. “[You] can find out through an amniotic draw if you’re having a dwarf or not, but Zach and I opted out of that just because we don’t care either way. We also just don’t have a lot of risk involved with it. … We love her and we can’t wait to meet her.”

Fans’ curiosity was sparked when Tori shared sonograms of Baby J and baby girl side-by-side, but this is a question the family has fielded before. For the record, Tori also shared that “they do track dwarfism from 24 weeks to 32-ish weeks.” She explains, “That’s when we found out [with] Jackson, but it’s never a diagnosis until they’re born.” Back in October 2018, she revealed she’d been 34 weeks along when they first got the news.

When the couple was expecting their first child, they were anxious about him being a little person. “It’s a big deal. It is scary. No parent wants to hear that their child is different, no matter what,” Tori said on a 2017 episode of the family’s TLC show. “There are certain things that come along with having an achondroplasia child that would be more difficult than having a child that was average height.” Now that the couple is getting ready for baby No. 2, they’re prepared for anything. And, just like with Jackson, they know that they’ll love her no matter what.
