Adam Busby Clears the Air About Daughter Riley Not Appearing in Photo Shoot: ‘It’s Always Their Choice’

Where’s Riley? OutDaughtered star Adam Busby took to the comments on a new Instagram photo to reveal why one of his quints wasn’t in the portraits taken for their clothing line, Graeson Bee Boutique. 

“In the recent Graeson Bee shot, did Riley not want to model or was she just not mentioned?” one social media user asked the TV personality, 38, after seeing the new post he shared about his anniversary celebrations with wife Danielle Busby on Tuesday, July 21.

“We don’t make our children take photos if they don’t want to. If Riley said she didn’t want to take a picture that day, then she didn’t have to,” the doting daddy wrote. “It’s always their choice and it’s not because we favor one child over the other.” 

Adam pointed out how “exhausting” it is to be accused of playing favorites every few months. “[Fan pages] are nice to us on one account and then consistently attack us for favoritism or ‘hating one child’ because we haven’t posted a photo of her as often as you would like, so you don’t have new content,” he added. 

“Nothing is ever good enough,” the star vented. “We will block the accounts that want to be negative and spread hate. It’s our kids and our [choice] to do so.”

Back in May 2019, the TLC alum addressed the same topic after a fan asked why Riley wasn’t featured in a photo. “[She was] buzzing [passed] everyone in high-speed on her scooter. Seeing just how close she can get to her sister before getting a ride out of them. Typical Riley antics,” Adam replied. 

As for why his eldest daughter, Blayke, was missing? He had a response for that, too. “School,” Adam said. Makes sense!

The reality TV dad and his wife, 36, share their all-girl brood, which proves to be pretty darn chaotic at times. Danielle previously revealed to In Touch exclusively how she and her man manage to raise a big family and keep up with their busy schedules.

“Adam and I have an extremely hectic busy life, but it’s never taken away from what our time is together,” she said. “We have date nights every week … we do either a Friday or Saturday — a family night then a date night. It’s one or the other.”
