Exclusive‘Sister Wives’ Star Mariah Brown Reveals Why She Doesn’t Work Out With Fiancée Audrey Kriss
The couple that doesn’t work out together, stays together? Mariah Brown — the daughter of Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Meri Brown — spoke with In Touch exclusively about her wellness routine, and revealed that she and her fiancée, Audrey Kriss, don’t usually work out together, even though it’s a big part of both of their lives.
In Touch asked whether Mariah, 23, had any tips for couple’s workouts or for how people can motivate their partners to work on exercise and wellness. “This is actually really funny because Audrey, my partner, is so competitive so we don’t often work out together,” Mariah revealed. “Sometimes she will come to SoulCycle with me, but I have been asking her to come to yoga with me for months and it hasn’t happened!” Hey, whatever works for them, right?
Mariah and Audrey got engaged in January during the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. “We were in the middle of where everyone was marching and I was trying to get the ring out of my pocket, where it was stuck,” the 23-year-old told People. “I think Audrey was fixing her hair, but I just got down on one knee and said some sweet things that neither of us can really remember because we were so caught up in the moment.” Too sweet!
But even after popping the question, Mariah hasn’t quite coaxed her partner to participate in workout activities like yoga with her. “Now that I’m certified to teach maybe I’ll be able to convince her to come to class with me (hopefully!),” she told In Touch via email. “She loves CrossFit though so I suppose we just have different interests in types of physical activities.” Everyone has their preferences!
As for getting certified to teach yoga herself, Mariah told us her teacher training in Bali “a wonderful experience.” “It truly was magical and empowering, and I am so excited to be able to share more about my love for yoga,” she said. She’s just gotta work on sharing it with the person she loves most of all!
