Anfisa Just Revealed the Weirdest Behind-The-Scenes Secret From ’90 Day Fiancé’: Have You Noticed It?
Oh, the magic of reality TV. Fans noticed something a little weird about the way Anfisa Arkhipchenko and her fellow female stars sit suring their confessionals on 90 Day Fiancé, and she surprisingly spilled the behind-the-scenes dirt about why she lounges in such a weird position.
“May I ask why you always sit with your legs elevated during interviews?” a fan asked in the comment section of Anfisa’s Instagram page. Her answer was actually pretty shocking. “Because producers make all women on the show sit like this if you haven’t noticed.” We hadn’t noticed, but looking back on old episoes, many of the female cast members can be seen with their bare legs up while talking to the camera.

While Anfisa didn’t give an answer as to why the producers wants the ladies to sit with their stems showing, she definitely gave her own feelings on the situation. “I hate it. So uncomfortable. Somebody please tell TLC that you don’t like it!”

“It looks uncomfortable,” said one fan. While others thought it was “creepy” or “pervy” that the cast members were forced to sit this way, another thought it was just to give the show a certain vibe. “I feel like they do it just to make the interview seem more casual. Either way, they should be able to sit however they want!”
Still, the guys don’t sit in a casual way, just upright on a chair curing their interviews, so it definitely seems like there’s a lack of balance behind-the-scenes. Perhaps now that Anfisa has aired her grievances, that will change!
