Is there tension between Jill Duggar and the rest of the Duggar family? Though the Counting On clan seems to go through most major life events together, when it came time for Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, to move, none of the other TLC reality stars stepped up to the plate. Instead, the mom-of-two revealed that a moving company actually helped them transport all of their belongings to their new place in Lowell, Arkansas. Were all of Jill’s many familiar members too busy to lend a hand? Or is there something a little more strange going on?
“We’re moved in!” Jill, 27, shared on Instagram on April 27. “Wanna thank our friends [Gunner] and Brandon at NWA Move Crew for helping us out! 📦➡️🏡✔️” Of course, fans almost immediately started to theorize in the comments about why none of the other Duggars had helped the family pack. “Sounds like there may be a fallout,” wrote one commenter. “Why are none of your 18 siblings helping you move?” Another agreed, writing, “I had the same thought. I mean, they helped Jinger [Duggar] move all the way to Texas. Surely they can help with a move in the same state.”
Those weren’t the only comments. Another fan asked, “Why didn’t your family help you? They seem pretty practiced in the moving and decorating phase. Only asking because I think in a move you need all the help you can get. I do.” More asked, “I’m just curious but, why didn’t your brothers help?” and, “Are your sisters going to help decorate?” Making matters worse, Jill’s family didn’t even leave their own encouraging comments on the post. Though the mom-of-two congratulated her brother Josh Duggar and sister-in-law Anna Duggar on their baby news on April 26, they didn’t return the favor.
However, there’s at least one theory for why the other Duggars didn’t seem interested in helping. “Most of the family is at a conference in Big Sandy, [Texas],” one fan shared. “Michelle [Duggar] has been posting updates for a few days now. Just because the family may not have helped with the move, that doesn’t mean there is a falling out.” Of course, that doesn’t explain the lack of supportive comments. But hey, maybe everyone was just really busy, right?
