Who Is Replacing Farrah Abraham on Teen Mom? — Cheyenne Floyd and Bristol Palin Seem Likely

It seems Farrah Abraham really is replaceable, after all! For months, fans have been waiting to see who MTV has found to replace her on Teen Mom OG, and it seems like they’ve finally made up their mind. Evidence is mounting on July 19 that The Challenge star Cheyenne Floyd and Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin will soon become part of the cast.

Despite ongoing speculation that Mackenzie McKee would be the newest face, one month ago, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported that the addition to the show would be Cheyenne and her former co-star Cory Wharton, who share a one-year-old daughter. On July 19, this news seemed to be confirmed when Cheyenne’s sister posted a photo of a Teen Mom OG cake with “Thank you Cory, Cheyenne, and Ryder” written on it. As if that wasn’t enough, Cory also tweeted, “out with the old, in with the new!”

The same day, TMZ broke the news that Brisol would also reportedly be joining the cast. While MTV nor Bristol have spoken on this, Kailyn Lowry posted this on Twitter: “Bristol and Cheyenne and Cory for Teen Mom OG? Our producers sure know what to do!”

The news has yet to be officially confirmed, but sources revealed that while MTV was seriously considering Mackenzie, who is a Teen Mom 3 alum, and Ryan Edwards‘ wife Mackenzie Standifer, both options “fizzled out.” The network “realized that the fans weren’t going to be excited about either option,” the source told The Ashley. “So they continued to look.”

Earlier this year, Cheyenne’s future co-star Catelynn Lowell made it very clear the cast was not looking to replace Farrah, who was fired in October. “They can’t [bring in another girl to our show] because we’re the OG’s, the original girls,” she said on Kailyn Lowry‘s podcast. “If you do that, it won’t be the original girls anymore.” And while she does have a point, insiders are pretty sure this is happening. “The only way this doesn’t happen is if Cheyenne or Cory backs out, but contracts have likely already been signed so it’s highly unlikely,” the source explained.
