Lala Kent’s Boyfriend Randall Emmett Is Still Married — but It’s Not What You Think (EXCLUSIVE)

The cat is out of the bag! For more than a year, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has tried to dodge questions about her relationship and hide the identity of her mystery man. But now, after the couple was spotted out kissing and getting extra cozy with one another, it seems like it’s been all but confirmed that her boyfriend is 46-year-old TV producer Randall Emmett.

Lala, 27, and Randall attended the FabFitFun event at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills earlier this month and an insider revealed to Page Six that “they were side by side the whole time, but they weren’t doing the PDA snuggly thing. They didn’t leave each other’s side.” But even though Lala let her guard down at the event, it seems like Randall tried to be extra cautious of being seen in public with her because he’s a married man!

But even though Randall is still legally married, a source close to Lala exclusively tells In Touch that it’s not really what it seems. “He’s still technically married, but their relationship has been over for so long now. It was over before Lala and Randall even got serious,” the insider reveals. “Randall and [his wife], Ambyr, are moving forward with the divorce. It will be a huge relief for Lala when it’s officially finalized.”

He’s a Hollywood producer.

His IMDB page boasts 102 credits as both a producer and an executive producer, and his most recent credit is listed as an executive producer on the hit Starz TV series Power.

He is still legally married.

Randall is married to 29-year-old actress Ambyr Childers and they share two children together. He filed for separation from Ambyr in 2015, but he filed to dismiss the petition in May 2016. It seems like the couple was trying to work things out, but Ambyr eventually filed for divorce last January and their case is still open.

Lala and Randall started dating around the spring of 2016, but on March 2017, Randall reunited with his estranged wife. They were photographed walking around LA together and Randall had his arm around Ambyr.

Lala refuses to mention his name on Vanderpump Rules.

In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Lala explained why she chose to keep his identity a secret and why she doesn’t want Emmett on the show.

“I reference my relationship. I never say his name. I don’t want him as a part of this world,” she explained.” It has nothing to do with anything except for the fact that I love and adore this human and I refuse to let ANYTHING ruin it. I would just be absolutely devastated if anything came between us, so I don’t imagine he’ll ever film. He is spoken about this season, but not in detail.”
