What Is an EMBA? Here's Why Debra Danielsen Included It on Her Wedding Invitations

Debra Danielsen — reality star, rapper… college grad! The Teen Mom OG personality revealed what her wedding invitations looked like on tonight’s brand new episode, and fans are hella confused. Next to her name was “EMBA,” and if you don’t know what that is, you’re not alone!

According to Top MBA, “EMBA simply stands for ‘Executive Master of Business Administration,’ which is commonly misconstrued to be a superior form of MBA study. In actual fact, the two are pretty much equal in terms of cachet and value on graduation — but they are delivered in entirely different ways.” Basically, EMBAs are catered towards professionals who already have extensive work experience.

In 2010, the now 61-year-old attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration & Land Use Economics. The following year, she received her EMBA at the same university and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Go, girl!

Back in November, Debs tied the knot to Dr. David Merz at Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, and although Farrah initially wasn’t going to go, she had a change of heart. The mother-of-one told In Touch exclusively at the time, “I don’t think I changed my mind about coming,” she said. “I just think this is how it should have been done. I don’t need to be pressured by a production company to do things their way or be told how Farrah is. I know that I’m a great daughter. I’m a great person. I’m loving, I’m caring, and I’m awesome. I was just tired of being portrayed a certain way on Teen Mom.”

Fair enough. And hey, we can’t blame Debs for wanting to add her university qualifications when she’s marrying a doctor!
