We are keeping Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards in our thoughts after it was reported that he decided to check into rehab.
Ryan, who shares a seven-year-old son, Bentley, with co-star Maci Bookout, decided to seek help for his issues with substance abuse — and according to a new report, we will hear all about this thanks to Maci and Ryan’s new wife, Mackenzie Standifer, at the upcoming Teen Mom OG reunion.
After the mother-of-three dished on Ryan’s problem on last week’s episode, Mackenzie took to Twitter to ask fans to pray for them.

“There was back and forth between Maci and Mackenzie, but no yelling or anything like that. They talked about Ryan and his drug issues. Ryan is in rehab and has been in there about two weeks,” a source told E! News. “They also said he’s doing well.”
However, there is still one thing the troubled reality star has to look forward to — coming home to married life! In Touch reported over the weekend that he married Mackenzie before entering the facility. According to court docs, the two tied the knot on May 15 in a religious ceremony in Hamilton, TN.

While it is unclear exactly which drugs Ryan was struggling with, his ex-girlfriend Dalis Connell revealed to Radar Online that he secretly went to outpatient rehab in 2012 when he was taking Roxicodone. Unfortunately, he only lasted one week there before he relapsed.
“He wasn’t interested in rehab. We had to drag him there the first time. He never said he wanted to get better, he just wanted the withdrawals to stop,” she recalled, adding she was the one to tell his parents, Jen and Larry.
“His mom was 100 percent in denial. His dad was the one that pulled the secret out of me. That’s why he went to rehab. His dad had been fed up. I drove there that night and we had an intervention.”
