Baby No. 2 is here! Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Travis Scott welcomed their second child, the beauty mogul announced on Instagram on February 6. “2/2/22,” Kylie wrote on a black-and-white photo of her son’s arm via Instagram, along with a blue heart emoji. Moreover, eyed fans believe she went with “Angel” due to several comments from her family and friends.

“Angel Pie,” Kris Jenner wrote on the photo. “Can’t wait to meet the little angel,” Ariel Tejada, her makeup artist, added. “Angel baby,” her best friend Stassie Karanikolaou echoed, while Kim Kardashian added her own angel emoji. On top of that, Kylie wrote “Angel baby” on an embroidery craft during her baby shower and added an angel emoji in the caption. She used the same emoji in a photo on September 9 when she showed off her baby bump while wearing all white.
Why Kylie Jenner Kept Her Second Pregnancy a Secret
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 24, and the “SICKO MODE” rapper, 30, confirmed that they were expecting their second child together in September 2021. The announcement differed from how the couple, who have been dating on and off since 2017, welcomed their now 3-year-old, Stormi Webster, on February 1, 2018.
Despite being a prominent pop culture figure, the founder of Kylie Cosmetics kept her first pregnancy a secret until her daughter was born. In June, during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion special, Kylie opened up to host Andy Cohen about her decision not to go public with her pregnancy.
“I shared so much of my life,” Kylie, who was 20 when she conceived Stormi, said. “I was also really young when I got pregnant, and it was just a lot for me personally. I didn’t know how I would bring that to the public too and have everyone’s opinion. I think it was just something that I needed to go through by myself.”
The Kardashian-Jenner Family Supported Her Decision
The family fully supported her decision not to go public with the news, including her older sister Kendall Jenner.
“This is obviously a theory — I’ve never been pregnant, and I’m sure there’s studies on this — but I think that the more at peace you are when you are pregnant, that goes into your child,” the model, 26, said at the time. “I think it’s a reflection of even her daughter today, and how amazing and beautiful she is, is just because Kylie was so at peace in her pregnancy.”
Kim Kardashian added that Kylie’s safety was also a concern for the family.
“There were times when we would be driving and pregnant, and paparazzi would almost crash into our cars because they just wanted a picture,” Kim said of her and her sisters’ experiences with pregnancy. “Kylie really wanted to, I think, protect her safety, the baby, and have that just be a private moment.”
However, Kylie and Travis chose to go public with their second pregnancy, and the reality TV star has shared photos of her baby bump and updates on the little one’s nursery.

“Stormi is such a sociable little girl and has a great relationship with all her cousins,” a source told Life & Style in August. “She loves being around other children and can’t wait to have a little brother or sister to play with and look after.”
